What certificates do I need to show to become a member?

CosmeticAID is a membership service for registered cosmetic practitioners only.  Registered Nurses, dentists and doctors, pharmacists, and advanced paramedics working independently with dermal fillers, beauty therapists, and laser technicians.  Upon registering, we will verify your details and then open the online platform to you. This can take up to 24 hours.  We will need to see your practising certificates, and a few other documents to verify you.  All cosmetic practitioners are required to carry these documents.

Can I receive assistance before my verification comes through?

It can take up to 24 hours to gain access to the online safety portal, however you will have immediate access to phone support.

Can I still call for assistance if I am not a member?

CosmeticAID encourages anyone experiencing an adverse event to contact us immediately for support. Client outcomes are our number one priority. However, for legal and ethical reasons CosmeticAID cannot provide complication advice to anyone who is not a member and whose registration has not been verified. As a result, non-members will be required to provide practice certificate details and pay a $365 yearly membership fee prior to our assistance. This yearly membership enrolment includes all the member benefits listed on the ‘what does membership provide’ page for the following 12 months under your basic option. CosmeticAID strives to ensure we are available and affordable to all aesthetic practitioners for patient safety outcomes.

Are there any additional costs?

The only additional cost is related to facilitation of medical intervention. If you need to call us out we charge call out fee.  You can find this all on the ‘What does membership provide?’ page

CosmeticAID will invoice the member directly for these costs.

CosmeticAID will ensure you understand these fees in advance of a call out.

Does CosmeticAID run workshops?

No we refer all workshops and training to the school ‘Ever Young Training’ of which we are associated.
